Welcome to Rainbow Forge Primary L.E.A.D. Academy. I am proud to be the headteacher at our inclusive, nurturing school.
Our Ofsted rated GOOD school is a mainstream primary school which caters for children aged between 2-11 years. Governors and staff are dedicated to providing children with the best knowledge available to ensure they are ready for the next stage of their education.
At Rainbow we pride ourselves on creating a safe, happy and calm environment where children feel valued. Through our child centered approach we strive to meet the individual needs of all learners. We are passionate about the strong links between home, school and the local community.
All children have the opportunity to learn to play an instrument and all take part in a performance each year. We provide a range of extra curricular activities and children participate in a variety of sporting events. Trips and visits are carefully planned to enhance our rich curriculum.

🎄❤️ BEHIND EVERY NUMBER IS A REAL PERSON, A REAL FAMILY AND A CHRISTMAS WISH… ❤️🎄
S12 COMMUNITY PANTRY – CHRISTMAS GIFT APPEAL 2026 🎁
Christmas should be a time of excitement, happiness and making memories. For children, it’s the magic of waking up on Christmas morning, wondering what Santa has brought. For parents, it’s the joy of seeing their children’s faces light up.
But sadly, for some of the families in our community, Christmas brings worry instead of excitement.
Worry about how they’ll afford the presents. Worry about how they’ll put food on the table. Worry about letting their children down.
And that’s where we’re hoping our wonderful community can help. ❤️
Each year, we work with local schools to identify children and families who could really do with a little extra kindness at Christmas.
Our lists are arriving, and already we are hoping to provide gifts for:
🎀 50 girls
💙 37 boys
❤️ 35 women
💚 24 men
🎁 146 gifts in total!
That’s 87 children and 59 adults who we’re hoping to make Christmas a little brighter for.
And these numbers aren’t final. We’re still waiting for a couple more schools to send their lists, so we know there will be more people needing our help over the coming days.
❤️ BUT THESE AREN’T JUST NUMBERS ON A PIECE OF PAPER.
Behind every age on our list is a real person.
A little one who still believes in the magic of Father Christmas.
A teenager who deserves to feel just as special as the younger children.
A mum who will tell everyone she doesn’t need anything because she’d rather her children had something to open.
A dad who may be quietly worrying about how he’s going to make Christmas happen.
And adults who might otherwise have nobody thinking of them at Christmas.
We can’t take away all the worries these families face, but together we can give them something wonderful — the feeling that somebody cares. ❤️
🎁 CAN YOU PLEDGE JUST ONE GIFT?
We’ve created a wishlist showing the ages and genders of those we are supporting.
If you can buy a gift for someone on our list, no matter how big or small, it would mean the world to us.
All we ask is that you PLEASE let us know the age and gender you’d like to buy for.
We will then mark that gift as PLEDGED and remove it from our outstanding wishlist.
This is incredibly important because the last thing we want is to have five presents for one child or age group while someone else is left with nothing.
Our aim is simple: at least one gift for every single person on our list. Nobody forgotten. Nobody overlooked. ❤️

🎁 All gifts must be NEW.
🎁 Please leave gifts UNWRAPPED.
🎁 Place your gift in a bag clearly labelled with the AGE and GENDER it is intended for and your name so we know who has donated
🎁 If you’ve pledged a gift and your circumstances change, please just let us know so we can offer that place on the list to someone else.
📅 ALL GIFTS MUST BE WITH US ON OR BY SATURDAY 5TH DECEMBER 2026.
This gives our volunteers time to check, sort and prepare everything for our wrapping event on the 12th before we deliver to the families and schools we support.

AND FINALLY, SOMETHING FROM ALL OF US AT THE PANTRY…
We know we ask a lot of you.
We know money is tight, bills keep rising and many people are struggling to make ends meet themselves.
Please believe us when we say we never take a single donation, a single pound or a single act of kindness for granted.
We are a small charity run entirely by volunteers. We don’t have a big pot of money set aside for Christmas, and we can’t simply go out and buy everything on these lists.
We can only do what we do because people like you care enough to help.
Every year, our community reminds us that kindness still exists in abundance, even when times are incredibly difficult.
You might think that buying one present won’t make much difference.
But to the person who receives it, your one present might be the only gift they open this Christmas.
And that is why every single one matters. ❤️
So please, if you can spare a gift, we’d be beyond grateful.
If your workplace could organise a little collection, that would be amazing.
And if you’re not in a position to donate, sharing this post could help us reach someone who is.
We can’t promise these families the Christmas of their dreams, but together we can make sure they know they haven’t been forgotten.
Let’s make sure that every single person on our list has something to open and, more importantly, a reason to smile this Christmas. 🎄❤️
