Inspire Day

9th March 2024 was our first Inspire Day. The children listened to inspirational stories from people who have overcome adversity.

The children were fantastic; listening, reflecting and asking questions to our inspiring speakers.

Martha’s resilience to continue to follow her illustrator dreams whilst caring for her mum,

Will’s hard work to get through university and set up his business, despite his severe dyslexia

Dan’s adaptability to manage and support teams in ICT with his hearing and sight impairment

The children in Y5 and 6 also received a special visit from our local MP Clive Betts. Mr Betts visited to respond to the letters the children had written to him last term regarding issues they recognised in the local area. He has inspired them to continue their activism journey and has suggested they start a petition for some of the changes they want to see.
