Wild Wednesday

Every Wednesday the children in the Early Years all come into school ready for a day of outdoor learning.

So far this year, the children in Pre Nursery the children have enjoyed lots of different activities taking risks grass sledging and have had fun investigating puddles.

Here is a snapshot of the Nursery children’s Wild Wednesday learning. They furthered their learning about the story of the Owl Babies by making nests for the owls. They have had fun climbing trees, and investigating slime.

The children in Reception class love Wild Wednesday and were lucky enough to have a snowy day in December. They have completed a huge variety of activities including making bird feeders, painting in the style of Jackson Pollock and were very excited to learn how to safely make smores on the camp fire.
